Bad news for Bluetooth
Appearently it’s quite easy to use bluetooth to use other peoples phones for unauthorized calls. This makes the chances that people leave their bluetooth on all the time even slimmer which is bad news for some of our ideas for roomware applications i guess.

Talked to Marek about this at the last PCL meeting and he convinced me that the number of phones that are vulnerable to this kind of attack are hard to be found. Plus modern versions of phone firmware are all safe. Just to prove the point we tried scanning phones vulnerable at the local pub and indeed found none
