Wireless USB (or WUSB) for cameras by end of 2007

Artimi has developed a wireless USB (WUSB) technology for cameras which they say will be available by the end of the year, and will become standard within a few years. WUSB will do 480MB/s up to 10-feet, 110MB/s up to around 30-feet. This of course will find it’s way into many devices and will make things more convenient.

An extra comment regarding this post, is realizing the need for a easy chart or graph that compares and contrasts wireless protocols and shows their specs. For example…bluetooth can communicate with a limit of x amount of people from one scanner and its range is x meters. Reason to use bluetooth? Wifi can support x and reach x amoutn fo people using wifi standard g or n. Requirements for use are wifi device. why use wifi and not bluetooth? and so on. Any takers?
